ALL ABOUT US
Highlander Too opened its doors on 16th April 2011 originally The Highlander only yards away.

 

Situated in the commercial centre "Montaña Tropical", a hidden oasis on the outskirts of Puerto del Carmen.

 

Through the main gate down the slope you will be met by beautiful well kept decorative gardens, the centre peice a well stocked pond with huge koi carp, goldsfish, Tropical Fish, Minature Shark, Cray Fish and the addition of Piranha Fish only a few years ago.

 

If you are very lucky, Domino, the bar cat will be around for a quick pet and during certain months Lanzarote´s native Parrots can also be seen flying among the great palm trees.

 

Through the last 9 years we have survived a recession, major road works, ash clouds and all through sheer determination and the loyalty of many customers who are now good friends.

 

Since its opening the Highlander Too has gone from strength to strength,

2015  proved to be a great year for us and 2016 was even better.

2017 has seen us go from strength, 2018 saw many regular visitors reurn just to say hello.

2019 sees the end of one era and hopefully the start of the strong new one with new owners

Here´s hoping that 2020 shows that we have kept the spirit of the HIghlander the same.

 

 

The team at Highlander Too strives for consistency, price, quality and most important to us.... a very welcoming smile.

MONTANA TROPICAL
Highlander Too is extremely child friendly, with a Children's Play area during the summer months. Highchairs and Baby Changing Area.  The centre and Highlander Too have all disabled facilities.

Making everyones visit a pleasure. You can relax in a safe and chilled out atmosphere.
The terrace gets more than its fair share of sun… so no compromise if you don’t make it to the beach.
If you don’t want the heat, there is a shaded undercover area too.
Smokers are catered for too, with their own area filled with comfortable Sofas.
Music videos play all day with tunes from all decades
There are regular Quizzes Family Games Nights, Jackpot and Prize Bingo, Karaoke etc all great family Entertainment. New for 2019 an Acoustic Afternoon in the Sun Thursdays at 4pm  

Above all, this is a child friendly, chilled out place to eat good value homemade food in a very relaxed atmosphere.
